It's been quiet here on the blog for three months now... all the changes have been very slow, and at the same time I've been so busy with all sorts of stuff that I've only finally got round to it today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this reason, I have no longer organised the events chronologically, but by topic. So here is the development of the floor from the installation of the underfloor heating to the laying in herringbone (yeah), sanding, brushing, oiling, sanding, oiling. It's really interesting how much the result differs from my original idea! ... and it turned out soooo beautiful! ... once again very instructive to surrender to the process, because then you are free for possibilities that suddenly come into play, or even suggestions from outside. I am always surprised and delighted by the development.
