Now I'll let the yellow cat out of the bag... and for those who didn't know it yet: 

After two years of intensive study, learning, practising, feeling, seeing and hearing, I can now proudly call myself a massage practitioner and Peter Hess sound massage practitioner. The "SOMA-Breath-Instructor" will soon follow, then I will be able to teach incredibly effective breathing techniques. I also passed the small alternative practitioner qualification in the summer, but this title doesn't matter for now.

Now it's all about this little (!) yellow friend, who will hopefully soon become my constant companion and my new, main workplace!!! The plan: we will visit all the people in need of relaxation together!!! 

Because the SOULBUS - as it will be called - will be converted into a mobile massage, relaxation, letting go, recuperation, dream, ZusichSelbstKomm... parlour.

This is where the story of the SOULBUS begins in the form of a blog. You can follow the transformation until everything ends up in a beautiful website.

Yeah! The business idea has been certified as viable by an expert organisation! Now off to the job centre and be financially safe until April.
That was real work, again and again my conscientious start-up coach Thorsten (thank you dear Thorsten at this point) had to nudge me to go a little deeper and even more and even more precisely.
But it was worth it, because I learnt and understood even more and put into words what I had only felt before. I now have a good basis for my website.
Conclusion: as always, everything is always good for what

"Is that yours?"... or "Did I see YOU earlier...?"
Now and again I get messages like this... well - there aren't that many, but apparently there are a few buzzing around Berlin. There's a really big, long one at the weekly market in Pankow with Russian specialities! It's actually a weird combination. Although the Russian probably thinks my idea is just as weird.
Anyway - back to this picture: a reassuring call to my dealer Stefan (Autocenter Ahrensfelde) confirms the assumption. YES! The baby was taken to be weighed! It weighs an impressive 4 tonnes!
He will be fed properly until January... let's see how much weight he has gained by then

After the introductory meeting about a fortnight ago, today is our first real working meeting!!!

This is Eric from VAMPERI'm sure you'll be seeing it more often from now on. The meeting room is already very much to my taste... In general, we have already realised that it FITS and we are looking forward to an exciting, beautiful, great and special journey together with the SOULBUS!!!!
It's also a dream that I can be with my "baby" on my bike within 15 minutes, watch, experience, decide something quickly... - and certainly also have a beer with the Vamper team after work and celebrate the stages from time to time

Here are a few more impressions of the beautiful site and the large workshop hall. The order books are pretty full (see penultimate picture) and I was very lucky (as with everything so far) that there was any capacity at all with the current camper conversion trend. The target completion date is 31.1.22.
By the way, the black tent in the hall is the first winter workplace So the thinking here is very forward-looking

TÜV passed !!!
With praise from the inspector because it was rust-free and had such a beautiful underbody (yes, we've already had it painted).
And probably at the end of this week - or next week at the latest - I'll have my maiden voyage from Panketal to Schönerlinde ..!!
EXCITEMENT

Sooooo... I would say... NOW IT'S MINE !!!!

Everything was perfect, always in a good mood and, above all, I really enjoyed working with Stefan Paior from the Ahrensfelde car centre (now in Panketal) made an exchange deal ...
With pick-up service from Buch station, I was able to ask my checker questions during the transfer, whether and what I need to consider ...
Somehow I was a little bit scared...
Although we had been driving a Mercedes 308 bus for years... which I had even sailed safely into the emergency lane with a burst tyre at 130 km/h...

Handing over the papers... again photos and ...

... off we went on a wild ride!!!!
And - what can I say: it's not bad at all !!!!!
Anyway, straight ahead and round the corner and all that -

That's my mission

Arrived in Schönerlinde. Removing the transfer licence plates... and the Vamper guys are right at the start with the drone!

I'm sure there'll be photos of it soon... it seems to me that the bus is the shooting star here at the moment

So, after the school bus idea was born (thank you, Alex Wiegand...), I started looking for one.
There are not many dealers. Actually, there is one in Berlin (Autocenter Ahrensfelde) and then another somewhere in western Germany. So on 1 February this year - one of the few freezing cold, slightly snowy days - I set off for Ahrensfelde with my friend Effi and my mate Manu.

The fire truck was a real gem, but it was also an old-timer, more than 30 years old... somehow I didn't dare to go for it.

The Ford coach in the middle was actually my favourite after the visit. So chic! That would have been a real hit for my purposes.
But it was already an old-timer and in my layman's eyes it was pretty worn out...

In any case, there was nothing here for me. Stefan said that nothing was on the cards for the time being and my friends tried to talk me out of the whole American car thing.

That was good! Thank you!
Because that strengthened my resolve all the more: I WANT A SCHOOL BUS!!!!

I think it was the same night that I was googling in forums until dawn, reading reports from people who had got themselves a "schoolie" and were so happy about it. That same night I researched all the basic facts about the Schoolies and the next morning at 8 o'clock I rang the "USCars" garage in Pankow to get information about importing, regulations etc. I was very happy.

My mind was made up: "THEN I'LL LOOK FOR ONE MYSELF"!!!
(What others can do, I can do too)

Dad was fully involved in the research (thanks, Dad ) and soon we had one on the line.
A phone call was made to Ben Flood in New Jersey... "please don't sell, I'm highly interested..."
quickly drive to Vladi in the workshop, ask him to organise the data sheet...

...after two weeks the answer: This model would not be registered with us ... so, yes, but with a 15,000 special licence ... oops

I don't want to get lost in the details... but after about four weeks of intensive research, I decided during a phone call with Stefan from Autocenter Ahrensfelde: "You so deserve your commission! I get it... can I please give you the order to find one for me now?"!!!!

That was probably in April. "But that can take time," was the answer.

Then on 2 June I thought I'd get in touch again and remind myself...

"You must have smelt a rat! Yesterday I bought the bus you wanted at auction"!!!! WOW!!! YES
