Behind the scenes

In keeping with the basic energies that have prevailed for over two years, the SOULBUS project is also dragging on like chewing gum. In this case, too, life wants to say: it is what it is and comes as it comes! My workshop always says: just because you can't see anything doesn't mean that nothing is happening! Ha. Exactly. There are also lots of other things happening that I or other hard-working little helpers have already done. I'll report on that today.

Site tour: in the foreground is the paper light object artist Silvia Maria Spieß (https://www.silvia-maria-spiess.de). I have the great honour of installing one of her lighting objects in the bus! Behind her is Igor Mohrig, who will be laying the wooden floor and finishing the worktop and tables. Igor has already laid all the woodwork in our house really beautifully, so I'm already looking forward to the result. Marco (in the doorway) is part of Vamper.

An insight into the manufacturing and paper-making process. Gulpe is the name of the slimy mass, I learnt.
Wow! How great that everyone put their heart and soul into the SOULBUS in the end ♥️ I could show what the light object looks like afterwards... but I won't (at this point anyway) 😉!!! There has to be a bit of suspense, right?

Of course, Igor had various wood samples with him. It's funny, everything is so much harder for me on the bus than furnishing a whole house. I try to keep my mind free and things usually work themselves out.
The good thing is that the base comes at the end and it's easy to simply lay a part down on the small surface and then visualise it. Now here - it's really not easy for me to do it in the "ruddy blank".

Yeah! At least the bus will be in the hall on 9 February! That gives us hope.

In the meantime I have found a saddler: 1-2-3Sattlerei in Bernau (https://www.123sattlerei.de)

I would like to recommend the people there at this point! Super nice and - in my case - super fast! Delivered on Wednesday - finished on Monday and the seat looks like new! What more could you want?

Before - after! That's something to be proud of.

The steering wheel is also back from Dresden - I'm excited... Photos before/after to follow

My vision board is slowly becoming REALITYBOARD!!! Crazy. Really!!! Something new has already been added - ... there will be a whole visionboard photo series in the end, exciting.

This time last year, there were mnemonic bridges and mnemonic notes and overviews of the Heilpraktiker! Almost exactly one year ago (17 March) I had my written exam. Unbelievable... it's been another year. What a lot of cramming and studying I did!!!

In one year - or better soon a large annual calendar with many SOULBUS booking entries will hang here ✊
